Man United 'will put aside' their style for Mourinho

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Henry Winter believes Manchester United are willing to put aside their style for Jose Mourinho. The Times journalist was speaking following many papers reporting that Mourinho had already told close friends that he's destined for Old Trafford. And Winter believes the recent news of Pep Guardiola's impending arrival to Manchester City has raised the pressure on their neighbours. "The fact that Guardiola has come in at Manchester City has really upped the ante for Ed Woodward and everyone at Manchester United," he told 5 live Sport's Mark Pougatch. "There's been long standing concerns about Mourinho's style of football, the fact he's just an impact manager and how he doesn't play the Manchester United way - I think those might well be put aside this summer." This clip is from 5 live Sport on 10 February 2016
