What did Adam Scott do with his 'broomstick' putter?

Sport Today

From the start of 2016, golf introduced a rule change that banned so-called 'broomstick' putters. With a longer handle than a conventional one, players would anchor their putter to their chin or chest and strike the ball with a pendulum motion. Former world number one Adam Scott was an advocate of the now banned putter and, to say the least, sad to see it outlawed. Now though, using a conventional putter, the 2013 Masters champion has won a title on the PGA Tour - his first in two years. Scott took the Honda Classic, beating Sergio Garcia by one stroke at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. And former Tour professional and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Golf summariser, Jay Townsend, says Scott found a novel way of disposing of his old 'broomstick' putter.
