Burnley midfielder Joey Barton believes Arsenal fans can do more to support their team, after comparing Gunners supporters to Leicester fans who create an “electric atmosphere” at the King Power stadium. Before Leicester’s Premier League game with West Brom, Barton said: "The atmosphere here [at the King Power stadium] will be absolutely electric. The supporters know they can influence the team to play with intensity. Arsenal fans have to be as culpable as the team sometimes because they're quick to turn on the manager and very quick to boo." Barton also compared the atmosphere in English football to continental football after spending a season playing for Marseille. He added: "In France, I spoke to guys who were amazed watching English football when a team who is one-nil down get a corner in the last few minutes and it's like you've scored a goal because the crowd got so animated."
