Pendleton: How I embarrassed myself in front of AP McCoy

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Olympic cyclist turned jump jockey Victoria Pendleton reveals her "embarrassing" experience in front of one of the sport's biggest stars. The London 2012 gold medallist said AP McCoy surprised her by turning up unannounced at a training session and claims both she and the horse buckled under the pressure of racing most successful jump-jockey watching on. "I got on the most reliable Schoolmaster horse in the yard, he got to the first jump and he put the brakes on [...] embarrassing". This clip is originally from the Friday Sports Panel on March 4th 2016.
