Available for over a year

A new-style migrant camp opening near Dunkirk in northern France is the latest evidence of the crisis at Europe's borders. It's modelled on camps in Ethiopia and Sudan and will be run by the town hall and the charity Medecins Sans Frontiers. 20-year-old Jer is one of hundreds of people it's hoped will leave their tents in makeshift muddy scrubland and go voluntarily into the wooden huts being built a mile away. Paddy O'Connell went to meet him. (Photo: migrants in Dunkirk camp. Credit: Reuters)
