Australian Miles Franklin wrote the sequel to My Brilliant Career in 1902 but My Career Goes Bung has only just been published in London by Virago Press. Interview with composer Iain Hamilton about his opera Anna Karenina, based on Tolstoy's novel and premiered by the English National Opera.
