Sunday trading defeat 'for the common good'

The World Tonight

Available for over a year

Shoppers in England and Wales won't be spending any more time in retail therapy on a Sunday, after government plans to extend Sunday Trading hours were defeated in the Commons. The Reverend Malcolm Brown is the man who looks after the Church of England's work with government and parliament, and also handles ethical issues. He told Ritulah Shah what he made of the defeat.
