Making it Big in Bollywood

Megamix

Available for over a year

Steve Najar went from unknown Midlands actor to Indian movie star in just a few months. His secret? According to the modest 25-year-old, he was simply in the right place at the right time when an Indian director came to England looking for actors for his latest film. We ask Steve what’s it really like to be on an infamous Bollywood (nickname of India’s huge film industry) film set! Also on the show, while Nelson Mandela’s government are accusing the South African Rugby Football Union of discriminating against black rugby players, a talented young team – comprising mainly black males and females from the poorest areas of South Africa – are touring Britain. We catch up with the team to find out why they care more about playing than politics.
