Stephane Ebongue grew up in Cameroon, the albino child of black parents. His white skin made him vulnerable because there are traditional beliefs that the blood and body parts of albinos bring luck, and witchdoctors sometimes use them in their potions. Stephane feared for his life, and is now a refugee in Italy. But he has since returned to Cameroon to confront a witchdoctor about his work.
