The host nation India were left humiliated in the T20 World Cup as they lost to New Zealand in their opening game - they were thrashed after being dismissed for just 79 runs. This has prompted a lot of soul searching amongst Indian fans and a search for excuses. The pitch in Nagpur has been blamed for taking too much spin - some want it banned, other have even called it "anti-national".
