World's most valuable coin on show in London

Six O'Clock News

Available for over a year

The world's most valuable coin, believed to be the first ever silver dollar struck by the US Mint, is going on display in London. The coin was bought three years ago by a private collector for ten million dollars. It's dated 1794 and is thought to have been handled by George Washington himself. Our correspondent, Nicola Stanbridge, has been to see it. (Photo: collector Bruce Morelan with his coin. Credit: Nicola Stanbridge)
