Episode twenty-one - the growing African resistance to racism and colonialism. By early 20th Century the European powers had completed their conquest of Africa. Realising that colonialists could not be driven out by force, Africans began to think of alternative ways to resist occupation and liberate themselves. "Europeans feared the independent nature of religious movements and when they had some political inclination.
