Newcastle fan Jamie Smith said he was "flabbergasted" upon hearing Mike Ashley's comments that he "regrets" buying Newcastle. He added that "the problem at Newcastle that Mike Ashley's created is the people he has appointed". Mike Ashley admitted in recent interviews that there was "virtually nothing" in the club’s bank account but he will stick by the club, even if they are relegated.
