'Help me, Help me!' - Cruise passenger swims for hours after ship

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ OS

Available for over a year

A British cruise ship passenger spent hours in the water, mistakenly thinking her husband had departed on the vessel without her. Susan Brown from Bristol was on the final leg of a cruise in Madeira with her husband when a row broke out. The couple decided to end the trip early and fly home but a misunderstanding led to the 65 year old woman thinking her husband had reboarded the vessel. Local journalist (JM-Madeira) Alberto Pita explains what happened: (Photo: Cruise liner in the sea. Credit: John Greim/Getty Images)
