Daniel Kish, President of World Access for the Blind, on how he uses sound to 'see'... After Daniel lost his sight as a baby, he taught himself to navigate his surroundings using a form of echolocation called Flashsonar. This technique allows Daniel to imagine his environment by making clicking noises with his mouth and creating a mental image of his surroundings from the reflected sound.
