Former England striker Chris Sutton says Aston Villa ‘must’ appoint ex-Leicester boss Nigel Pearson as their new manager. Bottom of the Premier League Villa are looking for a new manager following the departure of Remi Garde. “Villa must appoint Nigel Pearson as manager. They should have done it as soon as Remi Garde left - he knows the Championship inside out,” Sutton said. "I don't think Villa will free-fall through the divisions, but they need someone to steady the ship.
