The Conservative candidate for London mayor, Zac Goldsmith, has insisted he is not waging a smear campaign against his Labour opponent, Sadiq Khan. Mr Goldsmith accused his rival of sharing a platform repeatedly with people who had expressed extremist views. Sadiq Khan condemned the comments as 'divisive, dog-whistling' campaigning.
