How I’m attacked for being Jewish

Broadcasting House

Available for over a year

Rabbi Arnold Saunders, of the Higher Crumpsall and High Broughton Synagogue in Salford, tells Paddy O’Connell on Radio 4’s Broadcasting House that he is regularly the victim of anti-Semitic incidents. “I’ve been punched in the face in a completely unprovoked attack outside the synagogue…I’ve had quite a bit of verbal abuse, usually from passing cars where people shout things like ‘Heil Hitler’ or ‘get back to Auschwitz.’” Rabbi Saunders said.
