'Cozier the perfect soundtrack to any cricket match'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew and former West Indies fast bowler Michael Holding remember legendary Caribbean cricket commentator Tony Cozier, who has died aged 75. Cozier worked as a cricket broadcaster and writer for 58 years, making his ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Test Match Special debut in 1966. Holding, himself a legend of Windies cricket, recalls being told as a 19-year-old that if Cozier wrote good things about him, he had a chance of playing for West Indies, so respected was his opinion. Agnew added that Cozier was "the perfect soundtrack to any cricket match". This clip is from 5 live Sport on Wednesday 11 May 2016.
