Outlook Inspirations nominee Dr Evan Atar was the last doctor in the last hospital behind rebel lines in border fighting between North and South Sudan. He was eventually forced to flee and moved to a clinic just over the border in South Sudan, where some of the eighty-thousand refugees from the fighting fled.
