David Haye: Pro boxers 'completely different animals'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

David Haye believes professional boxers could cause 'absolutely horrendous damage' to amateur fighters at the Olympic games after the International Boxing Association voted to allow pro fighters to compete at this summer's Games in Rio de Janeiro. Londoner Haye said: "I wouldn't like to fight an amateur. Even when I spar against one you can feel they're not seasoned, not toughened. "If I fought myself now as I was 15 years ago I'd do absolutely horrendous damage to myself, and I don't know whether I could have gone on and had a successful professional career." This clip was taken from 5 live Sport on 1 June 2016.
