Can parents go too far when punishing their children?

Nihal

Available for over a year

7 year old Yamato Tanooka was abandoned by his parents in Japan at the side of a road for misbehaving. His dad has since apologised, saying they went too far and that they were only doing it for their son's "own good". Thankfully, Yamato was found safe and well six days later. But do you feel any sympathy for parents who punish children for their bad behaviour? Heena and Navneet shared their childhood stories with Nihal.
