11 million people in the UK suffer some degree of hearing loss. Ed Rex was born profoundly deaf but can now hear thanks to a cochlear implant. He took Kevin Connolly to a tube station, a coffee shop and a restaurant to try and give a feeling for what everyday life sounds like to him.
