Mary Miller has helped thousands of children from one of Scotland’s most deprived areas to reach their potential – through Castlemilk’s ‘Jeely Piece Club’ which she founded over forty years ago. But life has also taken Mary from her birthplace in Edinburgh right across the globe – from political activism in the USA’s anti-Vietnam war protests, to helping children suffering with HIV and cholera in Zimbabwe. She tells Shereen about her remarkable life.
