Is it right to erect a statue to Mary Seacole, who looked after soldiers during the Crimean War, in front of St Thomas' Hospital in London, or is it a slap in the face to nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale? The statue already is in situ, and will be unveiled next week but critics are unhappy. Mark Bostridge is a writer who's published a major biography of Florence Nightingale, called The Woman and Her Legend. Does he think Mary Seacole's achievements should be celebrated?
