Wales reached the semi-finals of a major tournament for the first time in history, after beating Belgium in the European Championship quarter-final in Lille. One of their leading men is Gareth Bale, who is currently a top joint top-scorer in the championship. A man that saw his early talent is his PE teacher Gywn Morris, who said "Gareth was always a tremendous sportsman […] he is a great role model for young girls and boys in Wales."
