How David Cameron tried to win over British Asians

Asian Network Reports

Available for over a year

When David Cameron was first elected in 2010, fewer than two out ten ethnic minorities voted Conservative. The Labour party has long been seen as the party of choice for many Asians. However, David Cameron set out to change that - not just through the traditional photo op but by really taking his message to British Indians. Our reporter Rahul Joglekar, who worked as a foreign correspondent for India's NDTV, got a ringside view of this change in policy. (Photo credit: Getty Images)
