We broadcast an extended interview with Kweku Adoboli, the Ghanaian-born banker who managed to gamble and lose 2 billion dollars of his bank's money in London after the financial crisis. The losses were unparalleled in British banking history. He admits mistakes, but in his first broadcast interview since his release from prison, he tells the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Economics editor, Kamal Ahmed, that the same thing could easily happen again. Also in the programme, Lucy Kellaway of the Financial Times, always a champion of plain-speaking, finds an unexpected paragon of the art in the widely-reviled British retail boss, Sir Philip Green.
