With Philadelphia currently playing host to the Democratic Party, the city is perhaps uniquely qualified to host a political convention, being the birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. This means a large chunk of central Philadelphia is recognised as the Independence National Historic Park, and Fergus Nicoll went to meet the Superintendent, Cynthia Macleod.
