England 1966 World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst, who scored a hat trick in the final against West Germany, says he never expect to be the star of the tournament. The former West Ham forward was left out of the England side for their opening group game against Uruguay. “My overriding thoughts and feelings sitting on the bench in the first game against Uruguay was that I was just happy, delighted and thrilled to be part of 22 players involved in the World Cup," he said. “I was just happy to be there, not knowing what would happen later in the tournament," he added. This clip is originally from Sportsweek on Sunday 31st July 2016.
