One of Australia's most prominent cartoonists has come under fire for drawing an unflattering picture of an Indigenous man. The newspaper's editor-in-chief, Paul Whittaker, defended the drawing, saying that the cartoonist, Bill Leaks, 'forces people to examine the core issues in a way that sometimes reporting and analysis can fail to do'. Professor Dennis Eggington, an elder from the Nunga aboriginal community in South West Australia, explains why it's offensive.. (Photo Credit: Bill Leaks/The Australian)
