The Chilcot Inquiry comes to the Edinburgh Festival

Broadcasting House

Available for over a year

Comedians, authors and politicians at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival will stage a complete reading of Sir John Chilcot’s 6,000-page, 2.6 million word report on the Iraq war. A rolling line-up of volunteers, including Stewart Lee, Omid Djalili and Ian Rankin, will read aloud the 12 volumes in front of six people at a time. Comedian Bob Slayer organised the event. Reporter Luke Jones went to meet him and see what people in Edinburgh made of the idea. (Photo: Bob Slayer. Credit: ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½)
