Why are there so many empty seats at the Rio Olympics?

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Many of the world's top athletes are competing in the Rio Olympic Games at the moment, but that still doesn't seem to be enough of a draw to fill the seats in the stadia. Viewers in the UK and around the world have been wondering why there are many empty seats at some of the events. 5 live's Bruce Douglas spoke to Donovan Ferreti, the head of ticketing for the Rio 2016 Olympic Committee. He advised future Olympic Games to have more "general admission" tickets, to avoid empty seats. This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on August 16 2016.
