First large cruise ship to depart Alaska on North West Passage voyage

A cruise ship is embarking on its thirty-two day voyage from Alaska, north over Canada and down to New York. The route has opened up in recent years as ice has melted. The vessel, the MV Crystal Serenity, is due to carry 1,000 passengers and 600 crew.
