Lawyers boycott Pakistan court over attack

Indus

Available for over a year

Lawyers across Pakistan are boycotting a court to mourn the loss of some 70 people, many of them lawyers. Journalists were also killed in the bomb attack in Quetta. They had gathered outside a hospital to pay their respects to prominent lawyer Bilal Kasi who had been shot on his way to a court. A faction of the Pakistani Taliban said it carried out the attack. Amjad Malik is from the Association of Pakistani Lawyers here in the UK, and gives his reaction in the following interview with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ presenter Talat Farooq Awan
