Fergus Anckorn was the youngest member of the Magic Circle aged 18 in 1936. Now at 97 he is the oldest. During the war he was held prisoner by the Japanese and worked on the Burma railway where performing magic saved his life. His story inspired Richard Jones who won Britain's Got Talent in 2015.
