We each have a unique voice, shape by our biology, history, class and education. It is a powerful tool and we are often judged by the very first words out of our mouths. In this week’s Why Factor, Mike discovers what makes one voice trustworthy and another not. We hear from a voice coach about how we can adapt and deceive with our voices and a vocalist demonstrates the power of the voice as an instrument. We also hear from an American teenager who has been voiceless since birth but whose personalised computerized voice has enabled her to find her own.
