Bosnian War Childhood Museum to open in December

World Update

Available for over a year

The Bosnian War is regarded as one of the most destructive conflicts of the 90's. It left the country in ruins and tore apart communities that had lived side-by-side for generations. The children of that war are now in their 20s and 30s. Their memories of growing up will now be preserved in a new museum. Its creator is Jasminko Halilovic. (Image: The shoes of Mela who, as a child, dreamed to become a ballerina.
