The Tactical Support Team is another regional department shared with the three other forces in the East Midlands including Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire Police force. The main function of the team is 'search', so that includes counter terrorism, missing persons, major crime scene searches & preparation for major VIP visits. Officers are specially trained and carry equipment that allows them to search in hazardous environments. Jim Davis went along to one of their training sessions, which was very noisy!
