Egypt's Nubian people were forced from their villages when the giant Aswan dam was built nearly sixty years ago. Despite moving to cities in the north of the country they've held on to their culture and traditions. But their dreams of returning home were dampened when much of their land was recently designated a restricted militarised zone. Here's Angy Ghannam of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Monitoring in Cairo, with a little help from one of her Nubian colleagues. Picture: A traditional house on the banks of the River Nile at Aswan.
