East Midlands Airport has been closed for a second weekend to allow runway refurbishment work to continue. Eight hundred workers have been on site to lay another fifty thousand tonnes of asphalt at a cost of a million pounds a day. But it will take five more weekends before the area around the size of forty football pitches is fully resurfaced. Our reporter Danielle Hunt has been given an aerial view of the work in progress by the airport's head of external affairs, Jack Kelly.
