The actor Bryan Cranston, comedian Amy Schumer, Madonna and Cher were amongst several stars who promised to leave the United States should Donald Trump be elected president. As of yet, none of them has packed their bags. Mae Martin is a Canadian comedian who faced a personal dilemma when the conservative Stephen Harper became prime minister in her country a decade ago (before losing to Justin Trudeau in a general election last year).
