Joy Lofthouse and Mary Ellis are both in their 90s. During the war they flew hundreds of Spitfires and Lancaster Bombers as part of the Air Transport Auxiliary. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Paddy O'Connell spoke to both women to hear their stories. Mary Ellis told Paddy she "flew about a thousand different airplanes" during the war.
