Louise and Sam became friends whilst their children were being treated at Sheffield Children's Hospital in 2010. Louise's son Ben had a brain tumour and Sam's son Josh had leukaemia. Sadly, both boys died within a few weeks of each another at Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice in 2011. Ben was 6 ½ and Josh was 17 months old. They share the difficulties people have in talking to them about their loss and the role faith has had in making sense of their deaths.
