There are further delays to the electrification of our railways. Mark Langman, Network Rail's Route Managing Director: "The price of that electrification is £2.8 billion...it was reported a year ago the difficulties that we're having. "There certainly were some with Network Rail in understanding the scale of what they're trying to do. "I think certainly there are lessons to be learnt. "We've been working really hard to deliver the commitments we've made in the new programme."
