A woman describes holding the hand of a man lying injured on the ground after a lorry ploughed into a Berlin Christmas market last night. Sarah Dobler, who was visiting the market with her boyfriend, said: “I couldn’t understand what the man on the floor was saying, he was trying to get up but his head injury was severe.” “I held his hand, and told him everything was going to be okay – it was as if we were in a horror film,” she told us. 12 people are known to have died and 48 have suffered series injuries in what German authorities are calling a “suspected terrorist attack.” Reports quoting German security sources have suggested that the driver was an asylum seeker from Afghanistan or Pakistan. This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Tuesday 20 December 2016.
