Zoe is from Largs and Cameron is from West Kilbride. They were both 19 and had been dating for 4-months when this conversation was recorded. Zoe was going to Glasgow University to study Politics, Sociology and Public Policy and Cameron was going to Edinburgh to study Theoretical Physics. They'd been friends for years before becoming girlfriend and boyfriend, so the prospect of not seeing each other every day was really strange. They've now both completed their first years and they've stayed together and really enjoyed their respective courses. They've both made lots of friends and still managed to see each other twice a week during term, despite the distance. Zoe says that it's made them make more of an effort with each other and they plan activities together. Now that the exams are over, they're able to be together more regularly. In terms of joining societies, Cameron never did become a member of the Quidditch Society, but Zoe's still hoping he might change his mind because she'd love to see him running around with a broomstick.
