Status Quo drummer Jeff Rich shares his favourite memories of the legendary Rick Parfitt who has died in Spain at the age of 68. Jeff told 5 live's Colin Paterson what it was like playing alongside Parfitt and fellow Quo guitarist Francis Rossi. "I was stuck in the middle of two twelve foot walls of Marshall stacks. One side was named 'Death Row' and the other side was called 'The Wall of Death', because it was so loud. To hear myself play - this is before in-ear monitoring - I had to have 4500 watts of PA system behind me with the drum. I actually wear hearing aids now.
