Rapper Killa Ace had a viral hit with a track that criticised Yayha Jammeh's goverment. Jammeh went on to lose the 2016 election but refused to leave office. Killa Ace was targeted by the government and forced to seek refuge in Senegal from where he continues to take a keen interest in Gambia's political crisis.
