Andrew Peach met the woman who organised a new bike for the man who had his stolen. Rachel Thomas: "Alex turned up, he was quite taken aback and was visibly shocked. He really wanted to meet the thief to find out what had motivated them to steal his bike. "He said 'Thanks to you and all the people of Reading, it's so nice to know that there are people out there who care of each other, I never knew that people could be so kind. It seems that my story will have a happy ending.' "Such a nice happy ending."
